Previous experience in the automotive industry or work with glass highly preferred.
A company specializing in quality assurance is looking for a Quality Liaison in the Blue Springs area of Mississippi. The liaison is responsible to ensure the customer receives professional on site services. Promote harmonious relationships between the plant and customer. Take a proactive approach to resolve complaints in a timely manner. Communicates directly with customer to lead and track progress of the existing product. The hours of this role will range between 10-20 hours per week (It may develop into more hours) and is on the day shift.
Responsibilities:
Understand and follow Quality Policy & ISO 9001:2008 Standard
Firm understanding of Paint quality and finish.
Ensures policies and procedures are followed by all employees on a daily basis
Problem solve and eliminate quality issues before they escalate into problems is key to be successful
Report all findings to customer and Quality Manager, including compliance violations or customer skills
Monitor and facilitate launch support and engineering changes as needed.
Attendance at all Customer quality and warranty meetings.
Attendance at all Customer engineering and vehicle launch meetings.
Contact Operations Manager or President with any questions or concerns
Direct involvement with Customer quality and engineering teams in understanding quality concerns, data collection, measurement analysis and root cause identification.
Direct involvement with Customer quality and engineering teams in establishing Containment Actions.
Direct involvement with Client quality and engineering teams to understand and establish Permanent Corrective Actions.
Communication with Client and Customer teams to present Client actions and countermeasures to address identified quality concerns. Interaction with Customer production teams and managers in the production environment.
Invoice hours weekly, unless instructed differently, by Sunday morning
Include in invoicing a description of weeks activities (concerns, issues or all is well)
Understand, adhere to and practice safety guidelines in the production environment.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
