Summary:
Oversees the quality control and safety of the manufacturing operations.
Maintain all quality and safety related activities in the company and contribute to the achievement of the company's goal.
DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
oMaintain documents for and required audit request for OHSMS (Occupational Health and Safety Management System).
oDeveloping policies and procedures that help prevent harm to workers and property.
oCreate policies for workers to follow that minimize job-related hazards and supports RA activities.
oDocument, track, and report generation as required.
oAssist in the development of Standard Operation Procedures.
oResponsible for providing process training to ensure that all SOP items are being adhered to.
oParticipate in Safety/Quality incident investigations and contribute to countermeasure implementation.
oMust have a collaborative and proactive approach to working with cross-functional teams.
oMonitor quality documentation and report generation.
oAssist supervisors in monitoring 5S throughout the facility.
oEstablish and track an effective Kaizen program.
oCommunicate quality concerns with our material suppliers.
oPerform Supplier Audits and supports TAI audits.
oMust be an effective communicator both orally and written.
Qualifications:
oBachelor's degree in Quality Management, Safety Management, or a related field.
oMinimum of three years' experience in quality/safety position in a production environment.
oAdditional certifications in quality control, safety management, and relevant regulatory standards(e.
g.
, Six Sigma, OSHA) are highly desirable.
oMust be proficient in Excel, Word, Data Entry, and Outlook.
oMust be able to travel.
oExperience in Automotive manufacturing environment is a plus.
