Summary:
Analyze customer's production forecast data and prepare materials for production team.
Compiles and maintains records of quantity, type, and value of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies stocked; attains maximum levels of cost reductions, and customer service.
DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Maintains shipping and receiving schedules.
Determining the required materials and generating scheduling agreements for our suppliers.
Tracking production volume monitoring customer demand patterns and purchasing trends.
Liaising with customers, suppliers, and distributors.
Managing inventory issues, schedules changes, and cancellation.
Issues purchase and work orders to generate product shipments.
Maintains status of orders through entire process.
Maintains and oversees inventory and database.
Accurately controls and tracks physical inventory.
Qualifications:
High School diploma, GED, or equivalent Production control related background related to parts ordering and inventory control.
Minimum 3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
Acute attention to detail.
Proficient on Excel, Word, Data Entry and Outlook.
Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
Experience in Automotive manufacturing environment is a plus.
